Sit Down!

Put Your Clothes On!

Have Some Self Respect!

What Would Your Kids Think!?

What Does Your Husband Think!?

IVE BEEN THINKING A LOT ABOUT THESE RIDICULOUS BOXES WE ARE PLACED INTO.

Its as if once woman hits a certain age, has children and/or becomes a wife she should sit down and be very quiet...dare we upset the world and its delicate balance of misogyny. The harmful part about all this is; its not just misogyny, we as woman spend a ORNATE amount of time shackling one another down with this oppressive language and viewpoint!

Personally, the boundaries of who I am as an autonomous being stretch far beyond being any of the above mentioned things; I feel this of ALL women, and I find it disgustingly interesting that MEN are NEVER stricken by ANY of these:

You Are a Father!

You Are Married!

You are OLD!

I have yet to hear a group of  women say any of the aforementioned terms in reference to shaming any man, yet..we as women receive this retribution constantly. We are attacked for being

BRAVE!

BOLD!

OUTSPOKEN!

SEXY!

PROUD!

INTELLIGENT!

WISE!

All those things while we take up space in the Universe that belongs to us All.

It can be depleting to know that at any given moment; large bodies of people will ascend upon you with the sole purpose of descending your value as they see fit because all they know one or more of these facts about YOU. 

You Are a Mom.

You Are Fat.

You Are Married.

You are OLD. (any woman over 30)

These people; the barrage of judgement and opinions that scale upon you. These people have no idea who you are and who you are destined to become, nor is it their business to get in your way as you tread through your life path; bursting at the seams with purpose, point, and intention that is much greater than any they can possible fathom.

So,..while they do their work...

You go..be BRAVE and do YOUR work.
